Ball magnet chooses Coburg for season 2015

The Coburg Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Jordan Williams.
The son of former Essendon rover Daisy Williams, joins after a two year stint with the Frankston Dolphins where he played in seven senior games.

“I’m come to Coburg for the opportunity, and to be a part of this great young list”

Growing up in the eastern hills, Williams chose to play for Woori Yallock in the YVMDFL as his local club. From there he spent time with the Eastern Ranges gaining a reputation as a leading ball winner playing 19 games in two years.
In 2013, he was brought down to Frankston Oval where he made a strong impact for a first year player in his first season of VFL football with an experienced Frankston squad, playing in six senior games.
However in 2014, his opportunities were limited and spent the majority of 2014 either playing Development football or playing with his boyhood club Woori Yallock, leading them to the Division 1 premiership.
Turning 21 next month, Williams is ready to get another shot at making himself a regular starter in the VFL.
