ETU powers up the Lions for 2 more years

The Coburg Football Club are pleased to announce that the ETU (Electrical Trades Union) have extended its partnership as one of our major sponsors for the 2018 and 2019 Peter Jackson VFL seasons.
The ETU has been on board with the Lions for the past six years, and Coburg FC General Manager Sebastian Spagnuolo couldn’t be happier to have them re-sign as a key sponsor.
“It’s fantastic to have them by our side for another two years,” Spagnuolo said.
“The partnership saw the ETU stand with us when we were aligned with the Richmond Football Club, but then took up a bigger role as our co-major sponsor when we went standalone in 2014.”

Throwback to the 2014 season when Coburg won the ETU Cup, following their defeat of Frankston.

“The ETU has a great understanding of what a state league football club can do for the community, and we are extremely proud to be in the position to announce such a significant extension with them.”
As part of the partnership renewal, a key element will see the ETU logo remain proudly on the Coburg FC home-and-away playing guernseys, as well as having prominent signage opportunities in and around Piranha Park.
Since 1902 the ETU has fought for the workers, creating enterprise agreements to help protect workers’ rights, wages, and conditions from anti-union legislation.
The ETU has become a major part of the football club, and we cannot wait to continue working with them for the next two years in what is shaping up to be an exciting time for the Coburg Lions.
