Coburg’s preseason practice match schedule has undergone further changes upon finalization.
The opening practice match which was due to be played against Williamstown has been cancelled. Instead, it will most likely see our final intraclub match being held on a Friday March 17th at Highgate Reserve, Cragieburn.
Both Senior and Development sides will be in action the next week against Werribee, again at Highgate, with games starting at 11am and 2pm on Saturday the 25th of March.
While week three of our practice match schedule would see a Sunday home game against Port Melbourne (due to local footy being played the previous day), the match has been moved to the Saturday following Port Melbourne’s round one clash moved a week earlier. With no other venue present nearby, the match has been moved to Frankston Park. With Daylight Savings time ending a few hours following the match, game times will be at 2pm and 4:45pm on Saturday April 1st.
The final practice match will still be played at Piranha Park, against the Box Hill Hawks at times of 10:30am and 1:30pm. The clubs annual season launch will be on later that night with the venue to be confirmed, on the 8th of April.
