Prior to the 2017 season, Coburg have been scheduled a practice match one week before our round one game which will be televised on Channel Seven.
While it was initially scheduled that a practice match was to be played against Footscray on a Friday Night in early March, that now is not the case. With the VFL regular season starting a week later than initially first thought, Saturday April the 8th will see the Lions play the Box Hill Hawks, with the Seniors beginning at 1:30pm and the Development beginning at 10:30am. Our annual Season Launch is expected to be held later that evening.
Practice matches will still be held at Rams Arena (Highgate Reserve) on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of March against Williamstown, and on the 25th or 26th or March against Werribee, however it is still yet to be determined which day these games will be played on.
Sunday Afternoon Practice Matches will also still be held on April 2nd against Port Melbourne at Piranha Park.
