Leadership Group member Andrew Sturgess is set to make his season debut for the Lions after working his way back from injury. Sturgess received a knock to the head which forced him out of action for 8 weeks, with a serious neck injury that could’ve impacted his long time football career.
Our 23rd man for this weekend will be Damon Symes who will make his senior VFL debut. The 19-year-old has been improving week by week in the Development side since his arrival from Yarrawonga in the pre-season.
Tom Goodwin is also set to return to the senior side after missing last week with a hip injury.
Other potential inclusions to the side are Jordan Williams, Nick Robortella, Tom Gleeson and Ben Sortino, who’d be making his debut for this season after playing in 16 games last year for the Lions.
The confirmed outs at this stage are Mark Orr who is unavailable, as well as Mark Kovacevic and Dion Hill who have both been omitted.
