Local League Lions: Round Eighteen

It was an impressive Saturday from some Local League Lions.
Starting in the Essendon District Football League, Tyson Lever was amongst the best on ground and kicked one goal; While Jay O’Donoghue continues to put in a strong effort despite Glenroy going down to Keilor by 76 points.
In the Northern Football League, Aidan Tilley & Mark Kovacevic with West Preston-Lakeside contributed to defeat Northcote Park by 73 points; While Daman Aujla kicked one goal in Bundoora’s 52-point win over Whittlesea.
Moving over into the Eastern Football League, Alex Mioni had solid game kicking one goal and was named in his sides best despite Norwood’s 13-point loss to Balwyn.
Sticking with the EFL, Jack Sandric did all he could for East Ringwood with his effort in his clubs 30-point loss to Knox.
The Southern Football Netball League brought more luck with Josh fox Booting three goals for Cheltenham and inevitably getting his side over Oakleigh District by 5 points; While Max Mitchell Russell kicked one goal and was named amongst the best on ground in Port Melbourne Colts crucial 4-point win over Chelsea Heights.
In the Ballarat Football League, Lachlan Watkins Melton South side wasn’t as lucky, going down to East Point by 67 points.
