Northern Knights top-liner becomes a Lion!

The Coburg Football club are delighted to announce that top Northern Knights youngster Michael Ercolano has agreed to terms for the 2016 season.
 
A West Preston-Lakeside junior, Michael had a stellar season at Preston City Oval as he managed to finish third in the Northern Knights best and fairest, and was named amongst the coached best 12 times in 16 matches. Michael also managed to poll 8 votes in the Morrish Medal count.
 
Despite only standing at 171 centimetres, Michael is a midfielder with dynamic pace who can also play as a small crumbing forward. He managed 21 goals in 2015, including a season best of five in one match. He also topped up for the Northern Blues in one development league game.
 
Michael joins former Northern Knights team mates Josh Iacobaccio, Liam Hunt and fellow new signing Garrett McDonagh. With the best opportunity possible to play senior football, it is a pleasure to have Michael on board for the 2016 season.
