Week ends with another signing from the Cannons!

The Coburg Football Club are happy to announce the signing of another Calder Cannon in Zak Wunhym.
 
WunhymZak is the second recent TAC Cup graduate from Calder to graduate to sign for the Lions, following Monday’s signing of teammate Mitch Conn. Like Conn, Wunhym has been a mainstay of the Calder side for the past two seasons, however is a high production midfielder or a small forward. In 2014 he was named in Calders best five times and managed 12 goals from 14 games, which included the Grand Final.
 
Going into 2013 Zak was touted as one of Calders top draft prospects, despite having off-season hip surgery which delayed his preseason. Zak had a bright start to the year, starring in the Cannons round one win over the Sandringham Dragons, however his season w
as hampered by injury and school football commitments, only managing 10 games.
 
With an ultra-distinctive game style and dangerous around stoppages, the Coburg Football Club are delighted to have attained the services of Zak, as the club continues to maintain and strengthen the alignment it has in place with the Calder Cannons.
