Mark Baker is the latest Northern Knight graduate to commit to Coburg for the 2019 season.
A key position project tall standing at 196cm, Baker managed 7 games in 2018 as an overage player, averaging 6.6 disposals and 9.6 hitouts.
Baker also had a solid 2017 season, managing 18 games and being named in the Knights best on five occasions.
A late developer, Baker has high levels of competitiveness with natural ball skills. He also represented Vic Metro during the 2018 season, and previously tested at the State Combine in 2017.
GM Sebastian Spagnuolo was thrilled with the capture of Baker for 2019.
“Mark will provide Leigh Adams and our coaches with great flexibility as he can play both as a forward and a defender. He’s mature for his age and we feel that with having a little more development, he can play some good VFL Football in his first year with us,” said Spagnuolo.
