Find out how the former Lions performed in a big round 15 of AFL action during the week!
🦢 Robbie Fox – 26 games and 7 goals for Coburg in 2015-16
Fox continues to perform well in his new role in defence. He didn’t find much of the ball this week against Melbourne (three disposals), but played his role in his teams 21-point win.
🟡🟤 Michael Hartley – 33 games and 1 goals for Coburg from 2014-15
Hartley was omitted from the Hawks side during the week for their game against the Crows. He will be hoping to be selected in the Hawks team to take on St Kilda tomorrow.
🔵 Callum Moore – 0 games, 0 goals for Coburg in 2020 (was signed for this season before joining Carlton as a SSP)
Moore wasn’t selected in Carlton’s senior squad for its match against the Giants on Thursday. His most recent scratch match came against the Suns last weekend where he started in defence but then moved to a forward-ruck role in the last two quarters.
🇹🇩 Reilly O’Brien – 2 games and 0 goals for Coburg in 2014
O’Brien was one of the Crows’ best in their first win of 2020. The big ruckman had 19 disposals and took eight marks (five contested), to go along with his 26 hitouts.
🦢 Ben Ronke – 2 games, 3 games for Coburg in 2016
Ronke is out for the season due to a stress-related back injury.
🟣⚪️ Luke Ryan – 10 games and 0 goals for Coburg in 2016
There were questions earlier in the week about whether Ryan would play after the defender suffered a nasty corky last week against the Giants. He ended up taking his place and was solid in what was a long day for the Freo defence. He had 16 disposals at an impressive 87% efficiency, as well as seven rebound 50’s and six marks.
🔴⚫️ Adam Saad – 28 games and 10 goals for Coburg from 2012-14
Saad played another good game for the Bombers as he continues to stake his claim for selection in the All Australian squad. He split his time between half-back and the wing, finishing with 21 disposals and six rebound 50’s.
