Coburg tickled Pink with Toby

The Coburg Lions have bolstered it’s forward line ahead of the 2020 VFL season by adding hard working key forward Toby Pink.

Toby Pink is originally from South Australia where he played U18 football with Glenelg and the SA under 18 state team and got drafted by the Sydney Swans in the 2016 rookie draft with pick 54.

After three full seasons with the Swans and 41 NEAFL games for 25 goals he moved to Melbourne to play with North Melbourne’s VFL side in 2020, when not on VFL duty, Toby would have been playing for Aberfeldie in the EDFL.

He spent 3 full seasons in Sydney with former Coburg players Robbie Fox and Ben Ronke.

With North Melbourne (as well as all Victorian AFL teams) now not fielding a VFL team in 2020, Toby was excited to stay in Melbourne and play VFL football which is a move that he hopes helps him get back on the AFL draft radar.

The 194cm forward, Toby now has the opportunity to join the club this week with 5 weeks until round 1 of the 2020 VFL season on August 1st.

To join Toby and pledge your commitment to Coburg for the 2020 season we encourage you to become a paid up and passionate member. Please click here to view all of the club’s 2020 membership options: https://coburgfc.com.au/membership-2020/
