Talent Identification Officer

The role of the Talent Identification Officer is to identify, assess, monitor and recommend talent within interleague competitions, community football leagues and school football in accordance with our rating system and proformas.

The position requires the following:

  • A passion for football
  • High football IQ
  • Ability to meet time deadlines (submitting reports)
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent analytical and IT skills
  • Weekend availability
  • Victorian Drivers Licence

Please note that this role is voluntary however is a fantastic opportunity for individuals motivated to pursue a career within the recruiting/list management sector, or for those that want to stay involved in a high standard of football. Previous participants in this role have ended up with roles in the AFL system.

 

Video Editor/Producer

The Coburg Football Club is seeking a video producer/editor to assist with producing engaging content and editing videos to promote the activities and highlights of the club.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Film, edit and upload compelling, broadcast quality video content for the Club’s digital media platforms.
  • Producing video content for club events, our scoreboard on match day and other activities as required

 

The successful applicant will be

  • A competent camera operator and video editor with experience using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie or similar software
  • You will be capable of working in a team environment as well as independently in the field, where at times you will be required to problem solve on the run using your technical skills

Sports Trainers

The Coburg Football Club, who play in the Victorian Football League, is seeking Sports Trainers for the 2019 season.

The club is seeking Sports Trainers to work with our VFL men’s team. This is a great opportunity to work in a semi-professional football environment.

The successful applicants will be rostered as part of a team of trainers and must be available to attend training sessions (Upto 3 sessions per week) and match day on either Saturday or Sunday.

Our trainers form part of our highly valuable High Performance/Medical and Physio team which means that you’ll get great experience working with professionals in their fields.

General Duties:

*Massage, hydration, strapping and injury prevention duties at training sessions and on match days.

*Assist with training sessions held by the Club as required and rostered.

*Liaise with Doctors, Physios, High Performance Staff regarding any player medical issues.

Accreditation:

Minimum criteria is Level 1 Sports Trainer and current first aid & CPR qualification.

Remuneration is available.

Scoreboard Operator & Matchday Entertainment Co-Ordinator
*Honorarium payment to be negotiated.
*Manage the scoreboard including audio & video content.
*Manage the stadium’s Matchday experience including music & public announcements.

Our club is seeking trained/experienced Bar, Barista Staff, & Events & Functions staff to work for our club over the off season as well as Events during the 2019 season.
Applicants must have an Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
