Talented midfielder, Hannah Fosbrooke has put pen to paper, joining the Lions in their inaugural team that will take the field in 2021. Fosbrooke is Coburg’s third signing, joining Mia Muscat and Madeline Edwards as inaugural Senior Women’s players.

Fosbrooke has built up quite the footy resume, from playing junior football in Ivanhoe to playing for St Mary’s Football Club in Darwin. She has also spent time playing senior footy at the Darebin Falcons and Fitzroy. More recently, Fosbrooke was a train-on player with Williamstown’s VFLW side. She is an exciting midfielder, with her strengths being her speed and aggression.

“I’d bring a bit of fierceness to Coburg. I love a good tackle and love to rev up the team to make sure everyone’s fired up during games. I’ll hopefully also bring some experience and knowledge of the game from multiple different clubs and people I’ve worked alongside. I would love to help this new up and coming team to be up there with the best,” Fosbrooke said.

Fosbrooke is excited to pull on the Blue and Red jumper in 2021 and continue to develop her skills in a new environment. She has already made an immediate impact at Piranha Park, winning the team’s two-kilometre time trial last week.

“I’m looking forward to building the team from the ground up and learning more about how we play as a team and enjoying footy again,” she said.
