The Lions have locked away another returning player for the upcoming 2020 VFL season.
Xavier Fry joined the Lions at the end of his NAB League journey with the Eastern Ranges in 2018, a year that also saw Xavier represent Vic Metro at the Under 18 National Championships.
In 2019, Xavier battled injury which made finding continuity in his football more difficult.
With the injury worries behind him, Xavier managed to make his VFL debut in the final game of the 2019 season against Footscray where he managed to showcase his speed as a rebounding defender.
Moving into 2020, Xavier will be looking to play more VFL football and our Coaching and High Performance staff will be giving him every chance to achieve his goal and press his claims.
With Xavier re-signing, it now takes the club’s list to 24 players from 2019 to re-sign for 2020.
