As seen in last Thursday’s edition of “The Roar,” Jack Murphy is the latest signing for Coburg for the 2018 season. Murphy has managed 50 senior GVFL appearances with Seymour since making his debut in 2015, & grew up playing Private School Football with Assumption College Kilmore.
“I’m super excited and stoked to have signed with the Coburg FC & giving the VFL a crack. After spending the past 3 seasons playing Senior Goulburn Valley Footy, the time felt right to make the move down,” said an excited Murphy.
“It was always a goal of mine to come down & have a crack, but more so a matter of when. Looking at the current playing list & coaching staff, I thought now was the time to give it a go, and I feel that I have been mentored well throughout my footy journey with Seymour & Assumption College Kilmore which will help me with hopefully making an impact at VFL level. I’m super excited to play with a new group of players, & learning and developing my game as much as I possibly can.”
