The Coburg Lions can confirm the signing of Mark Orr from the Western Jets.Orr played 17 games for the Western Jets in 2014, appearing amongst the coaches’ best 5 times.
At 196cm, he is capable tall of playing at either end of the ground, as well as the ruck which he did often in his time at Burbank Oval.
The connection for Orr to the Coburg Football Club goes very deep. Former player and development assistant coach Mark Pederson is a family friend of the Orrs and young Mark was named after Pederson nearly two decades ago.
The 19-year old is excited about the prospect of senior football action after spending the last three seasons on the Western Jets playing list.
