The Coburg Lions are excited to be hosting the first ever WVFL/VFL double header for this Saturday’s round one clash against North Ballarat.
The first match will be played between Coburg affiliate Women’s VFL side, the Darebin Falcons and Diamond creek.
“We are excited to be part of the inaugural VFL double header, we have developed a great relationship with the Darebin sporting club and look forward to welcoming them to Piranha Park in 2016” said Coburg General manager Craig Lees.
The match will kick off round 2 of the Women’s VFL and is set to be an entertaining match between two strong outfits.
First bounce is scheduled for 11am, with entry free before 12PM.
We look forward to welcoming all new and returning supporters to Piranha Park in what should be an exhilarating day of football!
