Coburg Football Club are delighted to announce the signings of Lachlan Watkins from Melton South, & Lachlan Wilson from Heidelberg.
Both players join us immediately & will be available for selection as of next week.
Watkins has managed 73 games of Senior Ballarat League Football for the Panthers since making his debut as a 16 year old in 2013. He is a rebounding defender with outstanding leadership qualities, & is a vice captain at Melton South.
A former Northern Knight, Wilson rose to prominence in 2016 with a best on ground display in Heidelberg’s premiership victory in Division one of the NFL Senior competition. Wilson has managed 23 games of senior football for the Tigers & despite his size, is a proven ball winner.
Both have received an opportunity on the list for the remainder of the 2018 season following the departures of Liam Hunt & Michael Ercolano.
