Converting from one football code (Soccer) to another, Hendy came across football by chance after mistakenly turning up at the WRFL’s West Footscray’s training session, thinking it was the Maribyrnong Swifts Soccer Club. She had a fantastic season in 2019, becoming runner-up in the Roosters Best and Fairest award. Hendy is a speedy midfielder that will add another dimension to the Lions midfield.
