For the first time this year, the Lions have named the exact same 27 man squad as the previous week. This comes after an outstanding performance by the young group against the reigning premiers Footscray last weekend which saw the Lions win by 8 goals over the Bulldogs.
Despite no confirmed omissions or injuries from last week’s side, four players could be making their return to the senior side including Tom Miles, Liam Hunt, Josh Cauchi and Joel Madden, to face a Port Melbourne desperate for a win at North Port Oval.
The Development side also return to action this week following their final bye of the season, and will also face the Borough at North Port Oval with the match beginning at 11:00am.
Ricky Schraven will remain as the 23rd man for this week’s game.
