The Coburg Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jordan Tabakman from Ormond.
Tabakman 19, has been viewed by state-level and AFL clubs as one of the most promising local level talents in the state and was in discussions with two AFL sides over a potential rookie spot.
He has spent the majority of his footballing career playing at Ormond in the VAFA Premier Division C despite a brief pre-season stint with the Sandringham Dragons ahead of their 2013 season.
Lighting up the VAFA last season, he was awarded a spot on the Vic Metro Under 19s squad to compete against Vic Country.
“Just being able to be coached by Germo, and not being affiliated with an AFL side, I think gives me the best opportunity.”
As a strong half-forward he booted 22 goals in 12 games last season and arrives at Piranha Park looking to make that next jump up the Footballing hierarchy.
