The Coburg Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Tom Miles from Box Hill in the Victorian Football League.Miles 23, is a tough inside midfielder and a ball magnet, who only twice this year got less than 30 possessions in the Victorian Development League.
“I want a fresh start, and a chance to further my career with a rising side.”
After starting out his career with Ashburton, he moved to Waverley Blues and as a 16-year old was named best on ground in their seniors grand final.
From there, Miles was shortlisted as a top-age recruit for Oakleigh Chargers but was shot down with an ankle injury.
Miles has proven himself as a Development league star, winning Box Hill’s best and fairest and proving himself as a solid leader, captaining them to the 2013 premiership, but states he wants to test his game at the highest level.
