Alex joined the club as a sponsor with his company, Piranha Snackfoods at the end of 2013 when the club went standalone again.
In 2015, Alex was elevated to Board Member and he has since used his background in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods industry) to provide business expertise to the club.
Alex became club President in January 2022 and spends his time between Melbourne and Sydney where Piranha's operations and logistics are based.
Since 1973, Kevin has played every role at the club from player to coach, runner to President and in 2022 re-joined the Board as Vice President after being club President from 2015-2020.
Kevin played 66 games and kicked 52 goals in the Seniors.
Kevin is one of only 11 people to be awarded Legend status of the club which is great recognition of the contribution he has made to the club.
Professionally, Kevin is the Managing Director of Breen Auction Group in Sunshine, VIC.
Steve joined the Board in 2015 in the role of Treasurer and has since held the role. Professionally, Steve is an accountant and outside of his club and work duties, Steve has a young family enjoys watching his children play Junior football.
Angela became Junior Co-Ordinator of the club in 2020 and has played a vital role in the growth and development of the club's Junior program. Angela and her young family live locally in Coburg and outside of Coburg duties is a local school teacher.
Nick joined Coburg Football Club in 2006, playing 168 games, kicking 148 goals and retiring in 2015. Nick captained Coburg FC for 7 years, topping the clubs goal kicking 4 times and named most courageous player on 5 occasions. Nick has stayed passionate and involved with Coburg FC, joining the board in 2022.
Outside of football, Nick joined Johns Lyng Group in 2014 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Johns Lyng Australia. With a strong history in leading the Group’s Insurance Building and Restoration Services division’s operational and financial performance for the last 4 years, Nick now has oversight of the entire Group’s operational and financial performance. With over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, Nick has significant experience in all facets of construction along with a Diploma in Financial Strategy from Oxford University. Nick has implemented a variety of successful and innovative business solutions along with creating and nurturing new industry relationships. Nick’s leadership has been pivotal in growing existing and new brands with a focus on our people. This leadership has allowed Johns Lyng to attract the very best talent to expand into new geographies and services.
Michelle is an established business executive, community leader and non-executive Director.
Michelle brings a wealth of experience across a range of disciplines; strategy, culture, communication, brand, performance, governance and program management. Her success is in building high performing teams and organisations that deliver success – striving to always achieve what others say is unachievable. Michelle is a non-Executive Director of Central Bayside Community Health Services, and a Senior Executive with Bendigo Kangan Institute where she is the Chief People, Culture and Strategy Officer, and was named in the 2021 Top 50 Public Sector Women (Vic).
Sebastian joined the club in 2014 as a Development Coach which was a role he held until 2016 when he then became the club's List and Recruiting Manager. Following 13 years at Foxtel in sales, leadership and business development roles, Sebastian was offered the role of General Manager in 2017.
Since becoming General Manager and since CEO, Sebastian has been the driving force behind the club's rise in membership and sponsorship revenue and played a key role in securing the funding for the 2020-2021 development of Coburg City Oval.
Sebastian is currently the club's only full time staff member which sees him manage all Commercial, Football, Community and Governance matters for the club.
