After two solid seasons at TAC Cup level with the Murray Bushrangers, Jackson Clarke finds himself at Piranha Park.
The versatile Clarke, who stands at around 190 centimetres, arrived at the Bushrangers following a distinguished junior career with Ovens and Murray League stronghold Wangaratta Magpies.
Clarke 18, managed 31 games in two seasons with the Bushies. The 2014 season saw Clarke spend much more time in the midfield, as opposed to his 2013 season where he spent the majority of it down back. He featured amongst Murray’s best twice, averaging 14 disposals and 4 marks a contest and caught the eye with his hard-at-it approach at the ball.
Clarke’s arrival at Coburg provides another handy midfield option for the Lions, and is very capable of filling a role down back or up forward. One that has the potential to surprise in 2015.
