Injuries to some of Coburg’s key talents have brought upon changes for this weekend’s clash with Collingwood.
Lech Featherstone and Liam Hunt have both picked up injuries from the weekend whilst Ben Clifton is unavailable for the clash due to a personal commitment, leaving the Lions 3 men short, with Joel Madden as the senior side’s only confirmed omission heading into Saturday afternoon.
These outs have given the opportunity to former Essendon key defender Sean Gregory, as well as Footscray VFL forward Tom Gleeson to make their season debut this weekend, with Gleeson making his senior VFL debut.
The other two confirmed inclusions are Cody Mance, who is set to return to the senior side following solid form in the Lions’ Development team, and former Calder Cannon Aaron Christensen has been named as the 23rd man for the Lions.
Among further potential inclusions to the team this week are Richard Bamblett, Dean MacDonald, Tom Miles and Damon Symes, who would be making his senior VFL debut.
