Tenth Cannons Graduate of 2015 signs!
Coburg are pleased to announce the signing of another Calder Cannon graduate from 2015 in Cameron McRorie.
Cameron is a 180cm crumbing forward who spent the majority of the 2015 season with Riddell District Football League side Rupertswood, where he managed 46 goals from 13 matches in a solid senior debut season. Cameron was named in his coaches best for his team in five games (three of those judged best afield), with his best performance being a ten goal haul in the final regular season match. Cameron also managed six goals on another two occasions.
Whilst he was on the Calder Cannons list in 2015, Cameron would manage to break through for four matches during the year for a return of one goal. Cameron would also represent the RDFL under 19’s in the AFL Victoria Worksafe Country Championships against the Nepean Football League and also received an RDFL rising star nomination early in 2015.
The signing of Cameron makes it ten players from the 2015 Calder Cannons list that have made the transition to the VFL with Coburg. We are happy to have attained Cameron’s services for 2016 after his hard work and commitment throughout this pre-season campaign.
