Another New South Welshman joins the Lions!

2016-03-28 13.27.26Coburg are delighted to announce that Joseph Tegart has agreed to terms for 2016.
Standing at 198cm, Joseph is a key position player that can play at either end of the ground as well as the ruck.
Hailing from the New South Wales Southern Coastal town of Batemans Bay, Joseph managed 16 games for AFL Canberra side Queanbeyan which consisted of being named amongst his coaches best four times. He was named the Robert Anderson Rising Star award winner for his efforts in his first season as a senior player with the club, and to top it off was a member of the clubs senior premiership side.
While he was training with NEAFL club Canberra Demons (formerly known as Eastlakes) prior to Christmas, university commitments beginning in Melbourne for 2016 saw Joseph make his way to Piranha Park as a result.
Seen as a developing prospect, Joseph adds to our key position and ruck depth for the 2016 season and we are looking forward to seeing him progress throughout the season. We are pleased to have him on board.
