Coburg are delighted to announce that Piranha Corporation have renewed their naming rights and major sponsorship of the club for another three seasons, therefore meaning the Coburg City Oval will remain known as Piranha Park within the footballing community.
Piranha and COO Alex Sapurmas have been outstanding for the club since coming on board for the 2014 season and are delighted to be going again for another three seasons. This new three-year deal will see the Coburg City Oval have its longest serving ground naming rights sponsor the longest in the club’s history.
“Venturing into uncharted waters, as a stand-alone club – will always have its challenges…but in the spirit of the Coburg Football Club, in its 125th year…challenges are not new. Challenges inspire and exhilarate us – On and off the field, Coburg meets them head-on! And it is in the same spirit, that it’s my pleasure – to reconfirm PIRANHA’s commitment to Coburg Football Club as the ground’s naming rights sponsor for a further three years,” Sapurmas said.
General Manager Craig Lees was delighted that Piranha have recommitted to the cause until the end of 2019. “Alex Sapurmas and Piranha are wonderful supporters of the Coburg Football Club, and both organisations values centred around community and care is what makes our partnership so successful, I thank Alex and Tixana for the ongoing support and very much look forward to the next three years.”
Piranha have over sixty snack lines as an Australian owned manufacturer, and their products can be found in a variety of locations, such as supermarkets, vending machines, schools and universities as well as airlines Qantas, Rex and Air New Guinea with Piranha now exporting to 15 countries.
