Coburg has made few changes to its side for this Saturday’s match against Port Melbourne, after finally recording it’s maiden victory for the season last weekend.
Luke Bunker is a confirmed out after receiving a suspension obtained during the clash with Frankston last Sunday, alongside Sean Gregory who will miss this week’s match due to injury.
Seven of the eight players listed on the extended interchange bench are new inclusions; all displaying impressive performances in their recent local matches, and will prove to be a tough decision for the coaching staff.
Of the seven, Tom Condon, Jack Sandric and Lachlan Watkins are three who could potentially be playing in their first Coburg VFL matches for the year.
Lion of Round 15 Ben Allan will start at half-forward next to Billy Cannolo and Peter McEvoy, while at the opposite end, Jackson McDonald, Lochie Dickson and Ryan Exon will combine in defence, starting at half-back.
Brad Bernacki will be the 23rd man for the third consecutive week.
For the full squad please see the graphic below. The team will be finalised closer to Saturday’s match.
Be at North Port Oval in Port Melbourne from 2pm to cheer on the Lions before the season is over.
