Coburg continues to further strengthen its links with the Eastern Football League competition, with the signing of Tom Meagher from Upper Ferntree Gully.
Meagher is a 183cm Midfielder, and had an outstanding season in 2018 which resulted in a 4th place finish in the competition best and fairest along with team of the year selection.
GM Sebastian Spagnuolo was thrilled to have secured the services of Meagher, who had also been on the radar of other VFL clubs.
“Meagher came to our scouts & coaches attention by using his strong body at stoppages and excelling in one on one contests, he also displayed an exceptional running ability and repeat efforts.”
“He’s very professional and has fantastic work rate. We are backing Tom to make the jump from Local Football,” said Spagnuolo.
