Fry aims to stir at Coburg

Coburg are delighted to have secured the services of 2018 Vic Metro representative Xavier Fry from the Eastern Ranges.
A Vermont junior who also played his school football with Yarra Valley Grammar, Fry boasts elite speed, and an outstanding ability regarding his decision-making & ball use.
Fry managed 10 games for the Ranges in 2018 and was named in the best in five of those games. He averaged 21.8 disposals, and 3.9 marks.
A medium midfielder who can also play across halfback as a rebounding defender, Fry tested at the 2018 Victorian State combine.
Coburg GM Sebastian Spagnuolo was pleased to have secured the services of the highly rated Fry for season 2019.
“Xavier is another committed and hardworking youngster that can definitely play a heap of VFL Football in his first year. He has excellent speed and line breaking ability which we noticed during his top age year with the Eastern Ranges, and with Vic Metro in 2018,” said Spagnuolo.
