Coburg has named its 27-man squad for our round 15 clash against Footscray at DSV Stadium this Saturday.
Added to the squad is Trent Warren who has been knocking on the door of selection, Max Simpson who has had a series of strong performances for Aberfeldie, kicking 5 goals in 8 matches and Charlie Beasley, who could make his comeback from injury.
After a strong third term last week against the Kangaroos, the Lions struggled to curtail the fast-finishing Kangas as they kicked with the wind in the final term and are subsequently still searching for their elusive first victory.
In just his second VFL game, Luke Bailey had a strong performance, collecting 25 touches and leading the team for clearances and tackles with 9 and 6 respectively.
Tom McKenzie played forward against Southport and was clinical between the big sticks, kicking three goals despite only having 7 kicks for the game.
