Coburg has named the team that will take on Carlton in our Round 16 clash at Piranha Park this Saturday.
The side has seen four changes following last Saturday’s match against Footscray where after a solid first half, the Lions were no match for the Bulldogs in the second half who went on to win by 32 points.
Added to the side is ruckman Liam Podhajski and defender Ingo Dammersmith while Josh Kemp and Braden Andrews will begin the match on the interchange bench.
The four players missing out from last week are Jackson Bowne, Aaron Gundry, Harry Nolan and Will Bella.
Our opponents in Carlton have won four of their last five matches to climb up to 9th place and are coming off an 85-point win over the Northern Bullants, setting up a difficult task for the Lions to take that elusive first win but a welcome challenge nonetheless.
Saturday’s game is at our home, Piranha Park, and we look forward to seeing as many faces at the game as possible. On top of this, the match will be streamed live on the AFL website at afl.com.au for those unable to attend.
