The Lions will be buoyed by four important inclusions as the Lions look to keep within arm’s reach of the top four, currently sitting in 5th behind Collegians.
The Lions secured the win of the road last Saturday against West Brunswick, while this week’s opponents flexed their muscles against Caufield Grammarians, winning by 53 points which sets up this big round 15 encounter.
The bolstering of midfield power does not end there for the Lions, with Tayla Dinuccio and Morgan McNally back and raring to go. McNally is back in the squad after missing two weeks, while Dinuccio was unavailable for our trip to face the Magpies.
Phoebe Chisholm reassumes her place in the back pocket for the Lions since playing her last game in round 8.
Making way for the inclusions are Abi Adams and Alana Wenban who will all feature in the corresponding fixture for the Development team. Versatile tall Cat O’Bryan and half-back speedster Laila Zayat will be unavailable for selection.
Among the numerous inclusions for the Development team, key tall Ruby Taranto is back after missing last week’s action, joined by Mikayla Kotas. Ruck Malaya Rodezno re-joins the fold and Abi Adams rounds out the inclusions for the team.
Defensive pair Chloe Catalano and Jenna Smith are unavailable, while Emily Balaburov will miss due to a calf complaint suffered in the last term against West Brunswick.
