The Coburg Football Club are pleased to announce their VFL Leadership Group for 2024.
Jesse Corigliano will again lead the Lions in his second year as captain after being backed by his teammates and coaches.
Lachlan Walker and Flynn Gentile have been promoted to co-vice captaincy alongside Mitch Podhajski who will remain in the leadership group after supporting Corigliano in 2023.
Ryan Sturgess, Braedyn Gillard, Daniel Johnston and Joel Trudgeon will round out the eight person leadership group in 2024.
Coburg Coach Jamie Cassidy-McNamara said, “I’m really pleased with the group that has been voted in for 2024.
Jesse and Mitch have been constants across the past couple of seasons, while the rest of the group has emerged through their actions over the past 12 months. I believe we’ve got a really balanced leadership group who will be able to both drive and support our wider playing group moving forward.”
Founder of TeamFirst, Gavin Brown added “I’m very exited to be involved with Coburg’s new leadership group for 2024.
It’s a diverse mix of personality types and leadership styles that will complement each other to form the basis of an extremely capable leadership team.”
