After a long pre-season and years of building towards this position, the Coburg Football Club is about to begin a season of expectation and possibility.
The pre-season performances have been solid, with a development win against North Melbourne and a seniors win against Sandringham at the Stand Alone Carnival. Pre-season was highlighted by a trip to Mt Gambier, where the seniors team played and defeated SANFL club Glenelg. It was a valuable weekend for staff and player and rounded out our pre-season and preparations for the season.
Our first game in Hobart, Tasmania is an exciting event for the club, as is our first home game against Collingwood on Good Friday.
We ask a lot of our players and our staff. Now we are asking our community to join them in determining what happens next. We can not fulfill our potential without that support.
