The Coburg Football Club is excited to welcome all past players, supporters and members back to the club for a special Past Players Event on Sunday 31st May.
We’re also thrilled to announce two new additions to the line-up, with club legend Nick Carnell and three-time Best & Fairest winner Daniel Venditti officially joining the event alongside Phil Cleary and Greg Swan.
Carnell remains one of the most respected figures in modern Coburg history, captaining the club from 2009 to 2015 — the longest captaincy tenure in the club’s history. Across 168 games, he became known for his loyalty, toughness and leadership during one of the most important periods in the club’s journey back to stand-alone status.
Venditti meanwhile built a reputation as one of Coburg’s premier midfielders, claiming three consecutive Best & Fairest awards from 2013-2015. If they made commemorative beer cans for every one of those wins, there’d already be plenty getting around with Daniel’s face on them by now!
It promises to be a fantastic afternoon reconnecting with former teammates, sharing stories and celebrating the rich history of the Coburg Football Club.
The event will be held at Coburg Football Club following the game, with all past players, families and supporters encouraged to attend.
