Another Monday, another Cannon signs!
The Coburg Football Club are pleased to announce that another Calder Cannon youngster in Josh Flower has committed to the club for the 2016 season.
Having played his junior football with Essendon District League side Roxburgh Park as a small forward before heading crosstown to Greenvale, Josh is a 176cm onballer who featured in all of Calder’s 18 matches in 2015, featuring predominately in the Cannons midfield.
Following on from his debut TAC Cup season in 2014 where he managed six games before it was cruelly ended by injury, Josh managed to finish fifth in the Robert Hyde Medal for the Cannons best and fairest, and was named amongst the coaches best six times throughout 2015. A tough inside midfielder, Josh adds depth to the clubs ever growing midfield stocks.
Once again, the Coburg Football Club are delighted that Josh has agreed to terms for 2016 as it displays the improving alignment that Coburg and Calder both have in place.
