Sides named ahead of final practice match against Frankston!
Prior to its final practice match against Frankston on Saturday, Coburg will be boosted by several inclusions to its senior side as well as its development side at Frankston Park.
The senior side sees the return of Ozgur Uysal, Ahmed Saad, and Sean Gregory, while Richard Bamblett and Jake Kalanj both make their way into the senior side. Defenders Simon Caven and Nick Linton both miss due to injury, while Michael Ercolano, Mark Kovacevic and Joel Madden all go back to the development league.
Defender Nathan Blair will make an appearance in the development league side following a lengthy stint in rehab throughout the pre-season and will be joined by Dion Hill, Jake Lew and Tim Sutherland. Luke Ryan, after signing earlier in the week retains his spot in the side, after topping up on Good Friday.
Second year player Cameron Holdsworth will play the first half in the development league, and will also play in the senior side, predominantly in the second half.
The Development League game begins at 10am while the Seniors begin at 12:30PM. Quarters in Development will last for 25 minutes flat while the senior game will be 28 minute quarters flat.
This will be followed by the club’s annual season launch, which this year will be held in conjunction this year with the Hall of Fame night.
