Just under the half way point of the season we review the health of our list, to see who’s injured and who’s close to a return to action.
The Senior side has lost some key talent in our previous two matches against Richmond and the Northern Blues.
Luke Ryan’s ankle injury is on the mend and will see him return to Senior football in a week, while midfielder Lachlan Johns who injured his leg in the same game, looks to be sidelined for a minimum of two more rounds.
Meanwhile Rory Lehmann has pulled up with a tight hamstring post our sides second win of the season verses Richmond and is hoping to miss only two weeks of football.
In last week’s Development matches, Jake Kalanj suffered a broken nose and Tom McConville bone bruising against Sandringham, however, both look right to return in our match with Port Melbourne in two weeks after the bye.
Lastly progress is steady on young guns Dylan Tarczon and Mitch Conn’s knee injuries. Conn expected to return within a month, while Tarczon will not have surgery on his MCL and will be back to playing in 5-6 weeks.
