Ben Reddick is the latest player in a long line of Calder Cannons to make his way to Piranha Park for the 2019 season.
The 173cm, nearly 19-year-old typically finds himself in the midfield or up forward, having managed seven matches for the Cannons in 2018.
From these games, he averaged 13.4 disposals, 3.7 tackles, 2 marks & 6 contested possessions.
Reddick featured in Strathmore’s Senior team on three occasions, and also played in The Mores’ Under 19.5 Premier Division.
He joins former Cannons teammates Jack Evans, Mitch Podhajski and Lucas Cavallaro to be contracted by Coburg for 2019.
General Manager Sebastian Spagnuolo is very excited to have secured Reddick, and looks forward to seeing what he can do at VFL level.
“Ben is a local Moreland-based boy that in 2018, played TAC Cup footy with the Cannons as well as Senior football with Strathmore.”
“Our coaches have been impressed with Ben’s desire to learn and improve, and he has fitted in well around the playing group,” Spagnuolo continued.
“He is definitely another exciting young prospect for our club, and we’re very excited to have him on board.”
