Coburg has named its teams for the first round of the 2022 SEWFL season, with a multitude of players set to play their first game for the club.
Over half the senior side will make their Coburg debut on Friday night with twelve players out of the selected 22 representing the Lions for the first time.
Maddie Edwards has been named to play in the midfield and will lead the team out for her second year as skipper of the side.
The senior team also features two VFLW listed players in Rachael Burton (North Melbourne) and Lauren Sulieman (Carlton).
Last year’s leading goalkicker Sophie Damon will play in the forward pocket while B&F winner Dacia Abela has been named to play in the back pocket.
The development side sees 13 players make their Coburg debut.
NAB League listed players, Hayley Baber, Mia D’Agostino, Laura Elliott and Chloe Prpic have been selected in the development team.
