The Coburg SEWFL teams will be looking to build on their impressive first performances of the season against Seaford last week as they prepare for their round two clashes against current ladder leader Frankston in the seniors this Sunday and against Edithvale-Aspendale for the development team on Saturday.
Senior coach Liam Cavanagh will be making two changes to the squad, Lauren Sulieman will be unavailable, as will Chloe Prpic, after coming in as an emergency for Angel Georgallis last week.
Georgallis will make her Coburg senior debut this weekend, along with Hayley Baber and Mia D’Agostino.
After putting in some great performances during the Lions pre-season, Baber, a representative of the NAB League side Western Jets, will make her debut for the senior squad after a great round one performance that earned her the award for best on ground, as determined by the coaches for the development team.
Calder Cannons product D’Agostino has also being putting some great work across the practice matches, and will get the opportunity to make her senior regular season debut.
