Coburg has been forced to make two changes for Saturday’s match against Sandringham.
Trent Warren comes into the team for the first time since the Round 9 match against Sydney while Dylan Thomas also returns to the side.
Harry Nolan and Tom McKenzie will both miss due to injury. Nolan has suffered a knee injury that will see him unavailable for the medium term while McKenize is set for an even longer stint on the sidelines with a shoulder (AC) injury.
Piranha Park welcomes a strong Sandringham team which features returning Saint Dan Hannebery and Ben Long amongst its St Kilda listed contingent.
Sandringham have won six matches in 2022 putting them a game and a half out of the Smithy’s VFL top eight. However, after starting the season well the Zebras have lost their past four matches in a row and are coming off a 54-point defeat to Footscray last week.
Last week’s tough loss to Werribee leaves the Lions sitting 18th on the ladder. Coburg will be hoping to put on a strong performance on home turf, Piranha Park has been the venue for the club’s three wins this year.
