Coburg Family Day is set to be a huge evening of footy, fun and community at Coburg City Oval on Friday 20 February, running from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. This free, family-friendly event brings together players, members, partners and the wider Coburg community ahead of the upcoming VFL season. With activities spread across the oval and club facilities, it’s a great opportunity for supporters of all ages to connect with the club and soak up the pre-season atmosphere.
Across the evening, fans can enjoy a range of pop-up activations from local businesses, including Recovery Lab Pascoe Vale and a mouthguard fitting from Teeth on O’Hea, while the AFL will be running Auskick activities on the ground for kids. Supporters will also be able to purchase official club merchandise and secure their 2026 memberships, making it the perfect chance to gear up in Lions colours and be part of the journey for the season ahead.
A highlight of the night will be the presentation of the 2026 player jumpers to the Coburg VFL senior team. This marks the formal start of the season, symbolising commitment, tradition and the responsibility of representing the Coburg Football Club. It’s a special occasion for players, families and supporters alike, reinforcing the strong bond between the club and its community.
