Injury Update – July

With just over two months left of football to play we review the health of our playing list.

Pete McEvoy this week returned to the club after surgery on his fractured tibia was successful, the injury ruling him out for the rest of the season.

Joining McEvoy on the long term list include, Nick Robortella, who will have surgery on his ACL after injuring it against Footscray and Cam McRorie who also suffered a broken leg.

Michaelis McMasters, who tore his hamstring is also out for the remainder of the season.

Dylan Tarczon is expected to make his return this weekend against the Northern Blues at Ikon Park after his Round 5 PCL injury against Frankston.

While Ritchie Bamblett and Nathan Thomas, who both injured their hamstrings against Werribee, should return after this weekend’s bye rounds.

Lachlan Johns and Robbie Fox are also expected to make their return in a few weeks.

Bamblett – 1-2 weeks (Hamstring)

Thomas – 1-2 weeks (Hamstring)

Robortella – Season (ACL)

McMasters – Season (Hamstring)

McRorie – Season (Broken leg)
