The Coburg Football Club has been a proud and longstanding member of the Coburg and wider Football community since its inception in 1891… over 132 years of proud history and tradition.
We are extremely passionate about ensuring this great club continues to prosper into the future, with 2025 being the Club’s 100th year in the VFA/VFL men’s competition.
Coburg Football Club proudly comprises of:
- A Men’s team that competes in the VFL
- Two Women’s teams that were introduced in Season 2021 and currently compete in the VAFA
- A junior football program that is affiliated with the Essendon District Football League’s Junior Programs from Under 10 to Under 14
- A team competing in the FIDA league for players with an intellectual disability.
The Coburg Football Club operates within a valuable space within the Northern corridor of Melbourne, with a multicultural and diverse community at our doorstep. We have strong partnerships with the Bachar Houli Foundation and past players doing great things in the community such as Adam Saad. We have a proud history as responsible custodians of the community we serve, including past legends of the club driving awareness on critical social matters, such as Coburg great, Phil Cleary.
At a cost of $6.75M our redevelopment now provides high standard facilities and ground use for the community and includes unisex change-rooms, undercover seating, supporter and visitor amenities and office spaces.
Our values and culture is our clear differentiator, with our club being the club of opportunity. This extends to the opportunities that present with our brand reach with a membership base of over 1,000 members, 200+ players, 20K social media followers and access to Channel 7 coverage, streaming of games and website / newsletter hits. These numbers and reach speak volumes of the opportunity that exists to drive your business’ brand into a different market. In a digital world, where much of which is now online and engagement-based through more mediums and channels than ever before, these opportunities are fruitful.
Our club doesn’t profit off gaming money, which makes traditional revenue streams like corporate support and membership more important.
We want to provide our men, women and juniors the best environment in which to operate and continue to be a strong fixture within the Community, providing opportunities for all.
