A former state league Basketballer with Diamond Valley and Eltham, Mitchener is a relative newcomer to Football however has already achieved plenty in her short time. Playing with Northern Football League side St. Marys Greensborough, Mitchener was awarded team of the year selection in 2018 (division 3) and 2019 (division 2) and won the team’s best and fairest in 2019. With a long-ranging kick, Mitchener’s experience will be a huge benefit to the Lions in 2021.
