BY BROOKE VARNEY.

The Strathmore Community Bank Branch Coburg FC Team Selection is in ahead of Saturday’s second annual Vicki Cleary Day, which will see one leadership group member make his season debut, and another play in his 50th match.

Coming off the back of a hand injury, vice-captain Peter McEvoy will start in the half-forward line to play his first VFL game of the season; while Nick Mellington will reach his 50-game milestone.

Having missed the last couple of games due to injury, James Belo will also make his return to the side, starting in the half-back line alongside young defender Harry Nolan and club veteran Nathan Blair.

Jay O’Donoghue has been named 23rd man for the final time this season, while eight players have been named on the extended interchange bench, all pushing for those final four spots.

The team will be finalised closer to Saturday’s game, but check out the graphic below for the full squad!

Vicki Cleary Day will begin at 2:10pm at Piranha Park. Make sure you’re seated early though, as there will be some pre-game formalities including a speech from Vicki’s brother, Phil Cleary.

If you can’t make it on Saturday, the match will also be televised on 7mate.
